Saturday morning is the ideal time to visit the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol, where a lively market (rastro) is held: “The Trading Post”. We invite you to come to our installations, park your car in our ample, free of charge parking area, and enjoy a unique experience in the most pleasant of settings.
The market stallholders vary from designers and craftsmen to resellers come from all over the province to offer you their art and goods, such as Diego Guerrero with his amazing wooden sculptures, or Gordon Bland with his versatile pottery works, Ana and Luisa bringing their unique stain glass designs and many others.
At “The Trading Post” you will find from fashion, antiques, plants, flowers, and fresh food to second hand designers clothes and accessories, to distinct and quirky creations of designers to bohemian, vintage, and world designs. These are complemented by a wide selection of ladies fashion, bags, accessories, jewellery, books, stationery, crafts and other fancy goods.
The Trading Post is also a friendly and welcoming market that hosts a healthy mix of traders, charity stalls and happy-go-lucky “de-clutterers” hoping to swap their surpluses for some cash.
While visiting the Trading Post you can also, enjoy the many equestrian competitions and activities taking place in our outdoors arena, quench your thirst with a nice cool drink and delight your taste buds with delicious dishes available at our Restaurant El Abrevadero, not forgetting our outdoors barbecue and music entertainment provided by the coast’s top DJs.
