The National Show Jumping Competition celebrated at the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol was a huge success.
The great number of participants, and the overall success of the National Show Jumping Competition held at the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol exceeded all expectations.
From 30th July to 1st August a National Show Jumping Competion was celebrated at the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol in Estepona.
This prestigious competition opened the season with the particpation of some of the most important Spanish and International riders.
The class which attracted more than 2000 spectators, the Six Bars, was a complete success, both with the large number of entries and the overall organisation of the class.
This competition attracted more than 250 riders, and distributed more than 30,000€ in prize Money.

2 STAR NATIONAL SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION ON JULY 3OTH, 31ST and 1ST OF AUGUST
On July 30th, 31st and 1st of August the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre, located in Estepona, will be hosting a 2 star National Show Jumping Competition, which will get together 200 horses and riders from all over Spain.
The competition will start on Friday the 30th of July and will continue on Saturday 31st and Sunday the 1st of August. During these three exciting days 18 rounds of classes will take place in which, male and female horse-riders from all over Spain will compete in one of the most popular disciplines as well as one of the most modern speciality of the equestrian sports, hoping to improve their latest rankings after long training and preparation.
The competition will comprise of six rounds of classes per day, four official and two additional, which will put the skill, accuracy and athleticism of both horse and rider to the test. Different category riders will take part in this prestigious competition in which there will be trophies and cash prizes for the first three winners of the official classes and trophies for the first five winners of the additional ones.
On Saturday 31st of July, upon finishing of all classes of the competition, the main attraction and one of the most exciting and anticipated competitions, will take place: THE SPECTACULAR SIX BARS COMPETITION. A knock out jumping contest, in which both, horse and rider, must overcome these bars in successive rounds reaching heights of up to 2 meters. This competition will last until the early hours of the morning with cash prizes of up to 6,000 Euros.
The Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol is one of the most renowned equestrian centres in Spain, offering the most modern facilities in Europe. Complying with the latest Health and Safety Legislations the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol is a British Horse Society (BHS) approved riding establishment as well as officially recognized by the Andalusian Federation of Horse Riding (FAH) and awarded with the highest ranking, 4 stirrups.
Its outstanding facilities include a spacious restaurant, El Abrevadero, where the spectators can enjoy the competition taking place in the arena, whilst treating their taste buds to some of the mouth watering dishes in the menu.
The facilities offer a wide range of services for the comfort of riders and the care of their horses. The Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol has available for hire 200 portable stall-boxes.
The services of a veterinary clinic, a farriery, a tack shop and open air paddocks are also available on site.
Free admission for all those spectators who do not want to miss this magnificent and spectacular display of Equestrian Art.
